Executive Functioning Coaching across US

Teens and young adults are making big life decisions—ones that shape their future—but just when things get complicated, parents have less influence. That’s where I come in.

I help teens and young adults find their footing, make smart choices, and step confidently into what’s next—while giving parents the support they need to help them.

What Clients Are Saying

“We were able to find clarity and confidence that we weren't able to find elsewhere on the internet.”

Dr. Mercedes helped us navigate the wild world of parenting teenagers. It was something that I was really afraid of. Not only did she give us tactical advice that met our unique needs, but she helped my husband and I to continue to work as a team throughout the entire process. In working with Dr. Mercedes, we were able to find clarity and confidence that we weren't able to find elsewhere on the internet. I'm relieved and grateful.

“Your connection and guidance has been life changing for our family!”

Thank you so much! Your connection and guidance has been life changing for her and our family! We feel so blessed we found you!

“I’m grateful everyday that he had time to develop his relationship with you before this crisis.”

You have had such a positive effect on him over the years. We are so, so lucky that you are treating him ethically and professionally. I’m grateful everyday that he had time to develop his relationship with you before this crisis.

“She saw his gifts and taught me how to reconnect with him.”

Dr. Mercedes has a gift. When she worked with me and my son I often felt contained in such a safe way that she made difficult times easier. Instead of dreading the weekly family sessions and feeling as though I were doing something wrong, I actually looked forward to meeting each week despite driving across town during rush hour. I was getting instant benefits from her sessions. For a while there were so many stressors that I didn’t realize who he was. She saw his gifts and taught me how to reconnect with him. I learned to engage with my son without controlling him. I appreciated how she helped me reflect on my parents' style of childrearing, letting go of patterns that weren’t serving me and passing on the positive ones to my son.

Benefits of Working Together

Real Engagement

I create a space where teens and young adults feel heard and understood, allowing them to engage authentically. With a direct, empathetic approach, I help them open up and make real progress, building trust that leads to lasting transformation in their personal growth.

Continuous Connection

Life doesn’t fit into neat little therapy sessions, and neither do I. Parents can easily check in with me between sessions, sharing updates so we can tackle what’s actually happening in real time. I also follow up with teens to keep them accountable and make sure they’re using what we’ve talked about. That way, progress happens faster—and it sticks.

Seamless Transitions

Growing up comes with big shifts, and I make sure my clients don’t have to face them alone. Whether it’s the jump to high school, the leap to college, or the transition into adulthood, I provide steady support along the way. Having that familiar, trusted guide makes all the difference in helping them adapt, thrive, and move forward with confidence.

Managing deadlines, staying organized, and juggling responsibilities don’t come naturally to everyone—but they can be learned. I help teens develop the executive functioning skills they need to stay on top of school, reduce stress, and feel more in control. The result? Better grades, less arguments at home, and a smoother path to success.
